How to Purchase Single Tickets
The best way to purchase single tickets to any performance is online. You can also sign up for our alerts to receive emails about pre-sale opportunities, special offers and on sale dates for all of our events.

❗ Important Notes:
- Ticketmaster is the only authorized seller of individual tickets for events at the San Diego Civic Theatre and Balboa Theatre. Tickets purchased on any third-party or resale website cannot be guaranteed for authenticity and may increase the risk that the tickets are counterfeit and not valid for entry to the event.
- Single Tickets can only be purchased online through our Broadway San Diego website Click Here.
- If you call into our Season Ticket Office we can only assist Season Ticket Holders and you will be redirected to contact your point of purchase.
- Tickets purchased from Ticketmaster cannot be exchanged through our Season Ticket Office. Please contact Ticketmaster: Click Here!
🎟️Purchase Tickets Online:
- All upcoming performances can be viewed on our Events Page. Use that page to find the show you are interested in and then click on the performance date you would like. You will be taken to the interactive seat map, where you can view what availability remains for the performance date you clicked on.
- When purchasing tickets on Ticketmaster, BLUE Dots on the map represent standard tickets sold directly by us, while PINK dots indicate resale tickets offered by verified resellers. The price you see for verified resellers is set by the seller, not by the venue.

IN PERSON
To purchase single tickets in person, you will need to visit the Civic Theatre box office on 3rd & B St or Balboa Theatre box office on 4th & E any day or evening that a show is scheduled in that venue. The box office will be open for 2.5 hours before the show starts, and they will sell tickets to all available events currently on sale.
Note: You will not need to wait until the day of your desired performance to purchase tickets; you will just need to pick a day the box office is open for business with a scheduled show at the Civic or Balboa Theatre.
💡 Good to Know:
The Civic Theatre and Balboa Theatre are cashless venues. This applies to all ticket sales, food & beverage purchases, and binocular rentals.
